The Innovation Technology Alliance (ITA), an initiative of the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce, proudly supports the Greek national participation at MWC Barcelona 2026 (2–5 March 2026, Fira Gran Via).

The Greek delegation, coordinated by ΣΕΚΕΕ/SEKEE (Hellenic Association of Innovative Applications Companies) in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Governance & Artificial Intelligence of Greece, and Enterprise Greece marks the 13th consecutive year of Greece’s organized national presence at the world’s leading technology event.

At the center of this participation stands the Greek Pavilion, the official national hub for innovation, networking, and institutional engagement. The Pavilion operates as a unified platform showcasing the strength, maturity, and global orientation of the Greek digital ecosystem.

Under the message “Innovative Minds: Global Impact”, more than 40 Greek technology companies will present advanced solutions across AI, IoT, semiconductors, digital governance, smart infrastructure, and next-generation telecommunications, reinforcing Greece’s role in the global digital economy.

Operating at the intersection of public policy and innovation, the Innovation Technology Alliance contributes by:

  • Facilitating bilateral government relations between Greece and Spain in digital transformation and innovation

  • Supporting high-level institutional dialogue and structured engagement

  • Strengthening cross-border ecosystem connectivity

  • Enabling collaboration between government, industry, and innovation stakeholders

Through ITA, the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce acts as the institutional bridge between the two countries, reinforcing cooperation between ministries, regional authorities, business ecosystems, and innovation actors. Its bilateral mandate ensures that the Greek Pavilion functions not only as an exhibition space, but as a focal point for institutional dialogue and strategic partnership development.

MWC Barcelona besides being an important technology showcase, is a diplomatic and economic arena where national strategies, institutional partnerships, and business expansion converge. Barcelona once again becomes a focal point for digital diplomacy between Greece, Spain, and the broader European innovation ecosystem.
